We are a small friendly Pole Sport and Fitness studio dedicated to helping you find your fitness wings, with small classes to make you feel welcome, supported and encouraged, dedicated to helping you achieve your fitness goals. Everyone is welcome, any age, any level of fitness, any body shape or size, all abilities and backgrounds. You just need to start. Do you think you are not strong enough? not flexible enough? too weak? too old? too uncoordinated? or [insert excuse here]? It's never too late to start remember everybody had to start as a beginner. We are dedicated to helping you improve your fitness while having fun, making friends and having a laugh, fitness shouldn't be boring or a drudgery. 
For this reason Wings Aerial Fitness host Boogie Bounce Yass Valley, FUN, FABULOUS & FANTASTIC exercise with a laugh and a smile and Chair Yoga, anywhere, anybody, any chair, GET FIT WHERE YOU SIT.
Some classes may require pre-requisites e.g. level 1 must be completed before level 2, refer to the individual class descriptions for more information.

What is Pole Sport & Fitness?

Pole can be for strength and fitness, acrobatic, a sport, an art form, dance, or a combination of them all, which is why so many people love it. Our Pole Sport & Fitness classes works your core, increases your overall strength, increases your stamina, improves your co-ordination and cardio and its so much fun. No prior strength, flexibility or dance skills required, you don't have to be fit or be able to lift yourself to start. Everyone starts as a beginner and builds their skills as they progress through the levels. Classes consist of a warm up, stretching and strength building exercises, pole tricks, linking tricks together into combinations, and a cool down sequence. Start at level 1 (beginners) and notice your strength, flexibility and coordination improve. You must have completed level 1 before progressing to level 2, your instructor will let you know when you are ready for the next level. Practice classes are available for casual bookings (you must be a current enrolled student to book), I'm sure you have heard practice, practice, practice before. Our Pole Sport & Fitness classes are term bookings only with some casual/drop in classes available for existing term students only (if there is a spare spot, send a message for availability and bookings).  We do have private classes available for booking if you prefer to have that one on one attention or if you can't make the scheduled classes. Our classes are organised into levels e.g. Level 1 Beginners, Level 2 Pre-Intermediate, Level 3 Intermediate, Level 4 Pre-Advanced and Level 5 Advanced, this enables you to build your strength, flexibility and skills in a progressive and planned way. Q. What is Boogie Bounce?

Boogie Bounce is a FUN, FABULOUS & FANTASTIC exercise program on a mini trampoline with a safety bar and choreographed to chart topping music, classes include cardio, bums, tums and thighs, even your face muscles get a workout. Suitable for all ages, shapes and sizes, getting FIT while having FUN. Boogie Bounce is dancing with intervals of jumping, bouncing, frogging and stomping. The whole program is more effective than a normal everyday aerobics class, anyone and everyone can do this at their own pace while gaining the impressive health results that are normally associated with high impact aerobic classes. Boogie Bounce incorporates high intensity interval training (H.I.I.T) techniques that maximises fat burning in the cardio section with a range of core stability exercises to work the deep core muscles. Boogie Bounce classes generally go for approximately 60 minutes. So what are you waiting for?

Q. What is Boogie Bounce Express?

Boogie Bounce Express is a quick 30 minute class for all those who are time poor but still want to get a great workout in the shortest possible time. Boogie Bounce Express is still FUN, FABULOUS & FANTASTIC. A condensed version of the regular Boogie Bounce classes, still choreographed to chart topping music and your face muscles still get a workout. Suitable for all ages, shapes and sizes.  So jump on board and sign up.

Q. What is Buns N Guns?

Buns N Guns is a 30 minute resistance band workout with a difference. Choreographed resistance band routines to strengthen your arms, glutes, legs and core while dancing... what fun. The bands we use are high quality woven fabric with unique stretch fibers to give a wide range of motion without loosing any strength. They are strong, comfortable with latex grip on the inside of the bands which ensures they will not slip or roll during your routine. Resistance bands work your muscles much like weights do, unlike weights, resistance bands don't rely on gravity to provide the resistance. Resistance Band exercises keep your joints and everything else safe. The more you stretch the band, the more intense the resistance and the harder the exercise becomes. This class is for all ages and fitness levels, with three different band tensions to choose from, light, medium and hard, you control the intensity of your workout. Have fun, feel amazing and get toned at the same time. 

Q. What is Chair Yoga?

Chair Yoga is perfect for YOU. If you are living with disabilities, weight, inflexibility, age or injury challenges or are simply unable to or don't feel comfortable getting on the floor for whatever reason, you can still enjoy the health and wellbeing benefits from the practice of yoga, in a chair. We teach LV Chair yoga which was created by Lakshmi Voelker in 1982, it is  also known as LVCY.  Its perfect in an office environment, at corporate events, anywhere you have a chair.  Chair Yoga is perfect for anybody, on any chair, anywhere. Classes are approximately 45 minutes. GET FIT WHERE YOU SIT.


Q. What is Boogie Bounce - Strength and Tone?

The Boogie Bounce Strength and Tone program uses the regular Boogie Bounce mini trampolines and bounce techniques combined with a variety of exercises using resistance bands. The program is designed to focus on strengthening and toning the main muscle groups of the arms, legs, back and abs. Strong and toned muscles help us feel fabulous, fit and healthy with the added bonus of assisting with joint support and improving our overall posture. Great for people that want to increase their overall strength, sit at a desk, or are bent over for most of the day. The program can also help to reduce the risk of fall injuries as we age - research shows that resistance training combats muscle loss and improves bone density. Strength and Tone classes generally go for approximately 60 minutes. Come and join us.

Q. What is the We Stretch Our Muscles class?

This We Stretch Our Muscles class is for anyone who would like to increase their flexibility and range of motion. You will learn how to safely stretch your legs, hips, shoulders, and back while improving your flexibility, posture and balance. Great for reducing stress and assisting in faster muscle recovery from your workouts. Class is approximately 45 minutes.

Q. What do I bring to class? and what do I wear?

Our studio has reverse cycle air conditioning so we have temperature controlled comfort all year round.

Pole Sport & Fitness
There is often a fear as beginners you will have to have a lot of skin exposed. Fear not...Normal shorts above the knee and a singlet is perfect for beginner classes with bare feet or sport socks. Its best to be comfortable. You will need some skin exposed on your legs and arms to be able to grip the pole. On the day of your class do not use lotions, oil, fake tans, or moisturise your skin as these will make you slippery and we definitely don't want that... You will also need a drink bottle.
As you progress through the levels, you are starting to use different body parts to grip the pole without your hands, such as the back of your knees, armpits & stomach etc. For the intermediate and higher levels a crop top and short shorts are best. You also may want some grip aid to help you stick to the pole, we can advise and assist with purchases. If you prefer there are some company's that sell sticky leggings and tops specifically for Pole, just ask and we can point you in the right direction. What about heels? Some people love them and some do not, in our classes we do not recommend heels for the beginner classes, bare feet or sport socks are perfect. As you progress and get in the higher levels heels are optional, talk to your instructor about purchase recommendations.
Boogie Bounce, Boogie Bounce Express and Boogie Bounce Strength & Tone face to face classes require a drink bottle, grippy socks, a towel (beach or bath towel sized) to cover the trampoline during the strength & conditioning component,  a smile and comfortable workout clothes such as leggings and a t-shirt. If you don't have a pair of grippy socks we have Boogie Bounce grippy socks in three fabulous colours for sale, just ask your instructor before class. If you are enrolling in the pre-recorded online classes you will need a Boogie Bounce trampoline and if you are doing the Strength & Tone class you will also need a resistance band pack (available for hire or purchase just email us for details)
Buns N Guns aka Resistance Bands classes require a drink bottle, a smile, comfortable workout clothes such as leggings, t-shirt or singlet, runners/sneakers and a towel to cover the yoga mat during the floor work. If you wish you can bring your own fabric resistance bands, you will need narrow body bands for upper body work and wider booty bands for lower body work, a yoga mat and/or towel (if you bring your own yoga mat you don't need to bring a towel). You can also purchase or order resistance band sets from us, just ask your instructor
Chair Yoga class requires a drink bottle, comfortable clothes. If you are enrolling in the online class make sure your chair is sturdy.
We Stretch Our Muscles class requires a drink bottle, comfortable workout clothes, a yoga mat/towel or similar and a smile.
Merchandise and clothing sales
We also have a wide range of merchandise, you can purchase/order resistance bands, drink bottles, bags, socks, hoodies, tank tops, singlets and t-shirts, have a look in the Merchandise List for the full range and prices. We can also help with purchasing sticky pole dance leggings, tops, grip aids and heels. 

Q. What are the online classes & why are they different from other online classes?

At Wings Aerial Fitness we understand that you may not be able to get to our regular face-to-face classes, or sometimes we are not able to offer all our classes in a face-to-face format so we have developed online versions which are as close as possible to actually being in a face-to-face class. All the same fun and fitness benefits as our face-to-face classes with the advantage of being accessible when and at a time that suits you. All you need is a space clear of all obstacles, a flat surface, an internet connection and any recommended equipment for that specific class. Why not combine a face-to-face class with an online class to really enhance your fitness and exercise goals? You can view your online class as many times as you want within your access period. We also have equipment sales available and hire options for our local area clients. Q. What are Wings Aerial Fitness health & wellbeing protocols including class attendance requirements during the pandemic?

We care about the health and well being of everyone, students, visitors and instructors that attend our studio including their families, friends and work colleagues.

A safe and effective vaccine is only one part of keeping our community safe and healthy. 
We would like you as an attendee at our studio to consider vaccination. We also respect your decision regarding your individual health choices however we have a duty of care to eliminate, or minimise the risk of exposure to COVID-19 in the workplace Vaccination | Safe Work AustraliaThe model Work Health and Safety (WHS) laws  also require us to take care of the health, safety and welfare of our workers, including, contractors and volunteers and others (clients, customers, and visitors).
If you chose to not have the vaccine or have an exemption please email wingsaerialfitness@outlook.com . 

 All our protocols contribute to minimising the risk of transmitting COVID-19 and other illnesses to our staff and clients, these include;  our instructors are all fully vaccinated, we adhere to physical distancing guidelines, good hygiene, frequent cleaning and regular maintenance of equipment and ensuring staff, clients and visitors do not attend the studio if they are in any way unwell.

At all times we will comply with the public health orders made by NSW government.

To stay fit and healthy Wings Aerial Fitness request all clients

* WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES. To, from and during class.
* For the health and wellbeing of all students please notify Wings Aerial Fitness if you have any cold & flu symptoms, or are unwell and please isolate, get tested, come back when you have a negative result and are feeling better.  
* Your instructor will electronically sign you in when you arrive at class, and you must sign in using the NSW QR code at the front of the studio.  

* Cough or sneeze into your arm/hand/tissue (putting the tissue in the bins provided) and make sure you use hand sanitizer afterwards or wash your hands.  

* Bring hand sanitizer with you to class (there will be class sanitizer available if you forget) and use before and after class. 
* Arrive 5-10 minutes before the class scheduled start time. 
* Participants are to wait outside until your instructor lets you in. 
* Classes will start at the scheduled time. 
* 1.5 meter social distancing rule will be strictly adhered to or the sq. meter rule, which ever is appropriate as per the current government regulations.  
* At the completion of class you are to leave the studio immediately (this is to allow for cleaning of equipment and to allow the following class members to enter) 
* Wash your hands frequently especially immediately before arriving for classes and afterwards with soap and water (20 seconds). 
* Refrain from touching your face. 
* Wear clean work out clothing to class.  
* Bring a clean towel to class to put on the equipment (if appropriate for that particular class i.e. Boogie Bounce) and another to use for any sweat. 
* Bring your own drink bottle with water 


Wings Aerial Fitness will ensure: 

 * Prior to each class common touch points eg door handles & bathroom will be cleaned using a disinfectant spray and/or wipes and/or recommended cleaning solutions.
 * At the conclusion of each class disinfectant spray and/or wipes and/or recommended cleaning solutions will be available for clients to clean their equipment. 
 * The number of people allowed into the studio at any given time will be as per current government requirements. 
 * Completion of a Covid-19 safety plan as per government regulations and is available on request. 
 * Covid-19 safety signage is visible throughout the studio. 

Wings Aerial Fitness and staff have completed an ' Infection Control Training - COVID 19' course issued by the Australian Government and the Department of Health. 

If you are unwell or have returned from an Local Government Area that is an area of concern, from overseas, have been in contact with anyone who has recently travelled to a Local Government Area of concern, interstate/overseas or had contact with anyone who may have been exposed to Covid-19 please contact your doctor and present to a Covid-19 testing clinic. Please notify Wings Aerial Fitness as soon as possible.

This is to ensure we keep ourselves and anyone at risk (which is everyone) healthy and safe.

Q. Important Class Information, Waiver, Release of Liability, Terms & Conditions:?

PAYMENT AND BOOKINGS 
All classes are booked and paid for online though the website. Please consider your classes carefully before booking. Due to small class numbers, once payment has been made, Wings Aerial Fitness DO NOT offer refunds. We hold your place in the class that you have booked and paid for. We do not offer refunds for a change of mind or non-attendance. Online bookings close one (1) hour before the the class is due to start. Late term enrolments will still be accepted via email or phone if the class is not full, the full-term fee still remains payable. A full refund, transfer to another class or term, or a credit voucher will only be issued if the class or term is cancelled by Wings Aerial Fitness. In some cases of injury, extreme illness or other personal circumstances, if notified Wings Aerial Fitness may issue a transfer to another class or refund, after consideration on a case by case basis and is negotiated preferably in advance of the absence. As there are limited numbers its recommended to book early to avoid disappointment.

CLASS ATTENDANCE 
Please arrive approximately 5-10 minutes early and be prepared to start class at the scheduled time. If you are ill or unable to attend your scheduled class, please consider people that may be on the waiting list and notify us as soon as possible of your inability to attend.
MISSED CLASSES 
Missed classes do not rollover or transfer to another class or the next term, if you do not attend all your classes they will be forfeited. If you are unable to attend your classes, Wings Aerial Fitness do not allow you to substitute another person in your place. In some circumstances, on a case by case basis and with notification in advance, Wings Aerial Fitness may allow a transfer to another class only if there are vacancies.
MINIMUM CLASS NUMBERS 
All face-to-face classes must have a minimum of 3 students booked in for the term, and Pole Sport & Fitness must have a minimum of 2 students booked in for the term, to proceed. If the minimum number of students is not met the class will be cancelled, if there is an enrolled student/s they will be offered a transfer to another class, term voucher or full refund. Minimum numbers do not apply to Pole Sport & Fitness practice sessions.
INJURIES AND RISKS
While all reasonable care is taken in the conduct of classes, Wings Aerial Fitness does not accept responsibility for injury or loss caused in or near the classes. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure they are medically fit for classes and/or check with a health professional if they are not sure, prior to booking classes. Students must notify the instructor of any known injuries/limitations and adjust their level of participation accordingly. Please thoroughly read and understand the waiver, acceptance of risk and release of liability below. 
YOUR MEDICAL HISTORY
At the beginning of your first class you will be asked to complete a short pre-exercise questionnaire which includes emergency contact information (please refer to our privacy policy). Refer to your health professional if you have any concerns regarding your participation in class. If your medical condition or personal information changes please notify Wings Aerial Fitness and/or your instructor as soon as possible and update your pre-exercise questionnaire. Periodically you may be asked to update your details. 
VALUES
Appropriate behavior is expected at all times. Classes are aimed to be a safe, welcoming and an inclusive environment for all students of any ability. There is zero tolerance for bullying, intimidation or discriminatory behavior. Where students must bring other people with them (such as children/family), there must be express consent from all the class members for them to be a spectator. Children must be supervised at all times and can not use equipment or interrupt the class. 
PHOTOS AND VIDEOS
Photos/videos taken by Wings Aerial Fitness during classes may be used for the purpose of promotion. All images will always be cleared with the individuals prior to use. If you do not wish your image to be used or have any concerns, please advise your instructor. Students may take pictures/video of class (as long as there is no disruption to class) but must ask other members of the class prior to taking the photo/video and ask class members permission if the images are going online. Any live streamed/online classes are filmed for insurance purposes only. 
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All choreography learned is the intellectual property of Wings Aerial Fitness and where students choose to perform this, permission must be granted from Wings Aerial Fitness and credit must be given. All resources provided in class (such as handouts) are not for further circulation or to be used by students to teach others without permission. 
WAIVER, ACCEPTANCE OF RISK AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY 
*PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASE* 
Every participant must read and understand this 'Waiver, Acceptance of Risk and Release of Liability' before purchasing and participating in the face-to-face, online or equipment hire activities provided by Wings Aerial Fitness. By purchasing this activity provided by Wings Aerial Fitness, it acknowledges and records the agreement between myself the participant, and Wings Aerial Fitness in relation to the activity and my participation in this activity. 
I understand and agree to the below as follows: 
 *I wish to purchase and participate in the activity provided by Wings Aerial Fitness, which may include face-to-face or online classes. 
 *I am over sixteen (16) years of age or I am the guardian of a person under the age of sixteen (16) years of age who wishes to participate in the activity. 
 *I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own safety or as guardian, the safety of a person under the age of sixteen (16) years of age. 
 *I agree to undertake the activity in accordance with the safety rules and advice that will be given before and during my participation, together with any verbal or other written advice or instructions given during the activity. Failure to do so will result in expulsion from the activity and all fees will be forfeited. 
 *I acknowledge that by participating in this activity, I am doing so at my own risk, under the s5M of the Civil Liability Act (NSW) the activity can be a dangerous recreational activity and can involve a significant risk of physical harm or death to myself or others surrounding me, as a result of my participation in any exercise program, class or activity. I may also suffer loss or damage to personal possessions and/or property. 
 *If participating in face-to-face classes I will complete a pre-exercise questionnaire provided by Wings Aerial Fitness prior to participation in the activity which includes emergency contact information. 
 *I understand that Wings Aerial Fitness staff are not medically trained and are not in a position to provide medical advice. 
 *If I have a known medical condition that requires an action plan it must be recorded on the pre-exercise questionnaire, I must inform Wings Aerial Fitness and/or my instructor before commencing the activity and I may be asked to provide written clearance from my health professional to continue to participate in the activity. 
 *If I have, or suspect I may have any health issues, existing injuries, aches and pains, I must record these on the pre-exercise questionnaire and advise Wings Aerial Fitness and/or my instructor prior to participation in the activity. 
 *If I develop any new health issues, feel dizzy or faint, develop any injuries, aches, pains or become pregnant I am to avoid participating in the activity, refer to a health professional prior to continued participation in the activity and if participating in face-to-face classes advise Wings Aerial Fitness. 
 *If participating in face-to-face classes where an incident or accident occurs during the activity, details must be reported immediately to Wings Aerial Fitness and/or my instructor and details of the event will be properly recorded. 
 *During face-to-face classes if required, I may receive medical treatment including first aid and/or ambulance/paramedic attendance (if appropriate) and agree to meet any associated medical expenses (including ambulance/hospital). 
 *I am aware of the dangers associated with the consumption of alcohol, mind altering substances, drugs or other substances which may impair my judgment or physical ability or capacity to safely participate in this activity and accept full responsibility for any injury, loss or damage associated with my consumption of alcohol, mind altering substances, drugs or other substances which impairs my judgement, physical ability or capacity to safely participate in the activity. 
 *During face-to-face classes if Wings Aerial Fitness and/or my instructor suspects in anyway I am unable to participate safely in this activity I will be asked to not participate in the class.
 *As a participant I must use the appropriate safety equipment, footwear and/or clothing as advised at all times and follow all safety advise that is given within the activity and as advised by my instructor and Wings Aerial Fitness. 
 *I acknowledge there are no refunds for online classes. 
 *Before I participate in the online classes I must ensure a suitable, level, non-slip floor space is available, with adequate space surrounding and above the area with any potential obstructions in the vicinity removed as advised via written and/or verbal instructions. 
 *If an incident occurs during the participation of online classes it is the participants responsibility to seek first aid and/or ambulance/paramedic attendance (if appropriate) and the participants responsibility to meet any associated medical expenses (including ambulance/hospital).     

EQUIPMENT HIRE
*Full terms and conditions of the hire of equipment is outlined in the Goods and Equipment Hire agreement form.
*The Goods and Equipment Hire agreement form must be completed and returned prior to pick up or delivery of equipment.
*The Goods and Equipment Hire agreement form can be requested via email wingsaerialfitness@outlook.com or in person.
*All hire of equipment is conducted for the benefit of existing Wings Aerial Fitness & Boogie Bounce Yass Valley students only.
*I agree that any equipment hired will only be used by one (1) person at a time.
 *I acknowledge that any equipment  hired, is unsuitable for children under six (6) years of age and children over six (6) years of age must be supervised at all times.
*Only those who have completed at least one (1) face-to-face Boogie Bounce class and have demonstrated their ability to use the equipment safely prior to the hire of the equipment are eligible to hire the equipment.
*The deposit and first weeks rental must be paid prior to or at the time of pick or delivery of equipment.
*Ongoing online equipment rental weekly payments via the website extends the signed and dated Goods and Equipment Hire agreement by 7 days from the date of the online payment.
*All payments for the weekly hire of the equipment are non refundable.
*If payment is not received by the expiry date of the online renewal. Arrangements will be made for the immediate collection of the equipment.
*If you purchase an online equipment renewal service without previously completing and returning the Goods and Equipment Hire agreement, your payment is forfeited.
*You acknowledge that you are using the equipment at your own risk, the activity can be a dangerous recreational activity and can involve a risk of physical harm to yourself, other and property while using the equipment.
*You must use the appropriate footwear, clothing, follow all safety advise that is given including the appropriate care of the equipment when picking up or receiving delivery of the equipment.
*A suitable, level, non-slip floor space is required and any potential obstructions in the vicinity are removed  before you start using the equipment.
